			<description>The Evening Chronicle in Newcastle used a picture of HMS Intrepid being broken up in Liverpool as a backdrop to this story on Tuesday 20th July 2010. Council leaders are negotiating a deal that would see a decommissioned military vessel berthed at the Wallsend yard and dismantled. The ship in question is the RFA Oakleaf currently docked at Portsmouth having been taken out of service last year.

He was getting old and paunchy

And his hair was falling fast,

And he sat around the Legion,

Telling stories of the past.

Of a war that he once fought in

And the deeds that he had done,

In his exploits with his buddies;

And 'tho sometimes to his neighbors

His tales became a joke,

All his buddies listened quietly

For they knew whereof he spoke.

But we'll hear his tales no longer,
